    Water purification systems for dialysis facilities, including hemodialysis dialyzer and reprocessing systems, as well as sterilants and filtration products. This segment is operated through Mar Cor Purification, Inc. and MEDIVATORS.



    Single-use, infection prevention products used primarily in the dental market including face masks, sterilization pouches, towels and bibs, tray covers, saliva ejectors, germicidal wipes, plastic cups and disinfectants. This segment is operated through Crosstex International, Inc.

    Job Overview

    The Manufacturing Off-Shift Manager will represent the Steering Team on the off Shifts. The position will have direct supervisory duties for the Sterile Assembly and Automation employees on 3rd shift.
    The position will also assist department managers by taking responsibility for the complete operation during the off shift hours. Specifically the Off Shift Manager will be responsible for off shift operations for Safety, Molding, Tooling, Machining, Non-Sterile and Warehouse.
    Primary responsibilities include the indirect management of Department Supervisor(s) and hourly personnel. Other responsibilities include support of operational goals, integration of lean manufacturing initiatives and six sigma concepts into the organization. This position reports to the Sr. Manager of Assembly Manufacturing.


    • A minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing, medical device manufacturing preferred.
    • Education – Bachelors’ degree in a business or technical discipline required 
    • Experience with Lean and / or Six Sigma Tools strongly preferred.



    • Manages day to day activities required to ensure production requirements are successfully met
    • Direct Supervisory responsibilities for 3rd shift Assembly and Automation
    • Management representative to off-shift employees
    • Maintain staffing levels and accurate time and attendance system tracking
    • Directs work group or department(s) to assure on-time production and/or delivery
    • Execution of duties require minimum of 70% of time in the areas
    • Teams with Steering Team to ensure inititatives are carried out on the off-shifts
    • Ensures production targets are met consistently
    • Participate in long-term strategic planning
    • Assists in proposals for capital equipment planning for manufacturing requirements
    • Assists in the development of a yearly departmental budget with quarterly assessment to targets
    • Establishes project timelines and goals for improvement
    • Provides support to engineering, quality control, marketing and sales as necessary
    • Assists in the development of Process FMEA for the resolution of product complaints and identification of potential process failure modes
    • Performs risk management assessment of products, processes and procedures.
    • Assists in the Design Review process for our products
    • Understands and applies of Company’s Quality System Requirements for our products.
    • Promotes a team environment with all levels of the organization
    • Knowledge and application of Medical Device Manufacturing requirements for compliance with applicable regulating bodies: FDA, ISO, OSHA, CMDCAS, EEC MDD, ASTM, ANSI, et al.
    • Knowledge and application of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma techniques in manufacturing is preferred
    • Assists with production of products as required
    • Other duties as assigned
